My name is Brian Noblin and i'm a Golf Packager in Myrtle Beach. I started this site in 2001 as a way to inform people about Myrtle Beach Golf and possibly gain a few clients in the mean time. Please feel free to browse about the site and enjoy the very informative interactive message board room. Please feel free to email me at brian@myrtlebeachgolftalk.com if you have any questions, need to get a quote or book your golf package!

The Myrtle Beach Golf Talk Forum is the heart and soul of this website (it's where the "Talk" is derived from) and has transformed over the years.  This is the latest, and hopfully last, incarnation of the Forum.  Here is where all of the latest information can be found, from recent trip reports to advice for a particular issue.  Over the years, Forum members have formed friendships, there is an annual Forum Outing in Myrtle Beach and occassionaly local outings where Forum members get together and play golf.

If you are seeing this notice, you are either not registered on the site and/or not signed in.  Not all of the Forum content is visible to you either.  Some of it, such as the Trip Reports, is only visible by registered users of the site and you must be signed in.  So if you are registered, that's great.  Sign in and view all of the content.  If you are not registered, please do so by clicking the Register link up at the top left of the page.  It only takes a few minutes.  Then, come on in and get to know us and hopefully participate.

Looking to combine the seasons and get the best value possible. What is the time frame right before the Oceanfront resorts rates go through the roof? Is it generally before Labor Day weekend? I want to hit this year at the end of Spring for Golf and Stay on the Oceanfront without losing an arm and a leg, and a wife!

Late May is best for golf & Lodging in my opinion.
2012 will mark my 34th consecutive year to make a golf trip to Myrtle. Retired as "group leader" after last May's trip, but unretired long enough to book golf thru Brian for May 2012.

Looking at the 18th through the 22nd, the week and weekend before Labor Day or possibly 11th through the 15th. Trying to get on the Ocean this year, while possibly avoiding the 105+ temps!

My group always goes the week before Memorial Day. Summer golf rates start May 23rd, but high season lodging prices usually don't kick in until the week after Memorial Day.

Agree 100% with Donald...Late May is great for MB golf...rates are in summer mode, but hotel prices aren't. Weather is usually high 70's to mid 80's, cool in the AM's for early rounds.

A good way to get a feel for exact rate periods is to look at Golfdesk's room rates for that period, for ocean front hotels, like Caravelle, Malibu Point, etc, even if those aren't where you plan to stay.

May is nice but September is also great.  Rates for both golf and hotels are cheap and the  weather is fantastic if there are not any hurricanes.

Do you think I can actually wait for next year all summer until Fall for my trip. I might actually destroy all my friends with info on the trip and count down messages.

BTW, 267 days until my Myrtle Beach 2011 Trip!!!
