My name is Brian Noblin and i'm a Golf Packager in Myrtle Beach. I started this site in 2001 as a way to inform people about Myrtle Beach Golf and possibly gain a few clients in the mean time. Please feel free to browse about the site and enjoy the very informative interactive message board room. Please feel free to email me at brian@myrtlebeachgolftalk.com if you have any questions, need to get a quote or book your golf package!

The Myrtle Beach Golf Talk Forum is the heart and soul of this website (it's where the "Talk" is derived from) and has transformed over the years.  This is the latest, and hopfully last, incarnation of the Forum.  Here is where all of the latest information can be found, from recent trip reports to advice for a particular issue.  Over the years, Forum members have formed friendships, there is an annual Forum Outing in Myrtle Beach and occassionaly local outings where Forum members get together and play golf.

If you are seeing this notice, you are either not registered on the site and/or not signed in.  Not all of the Forum content is visible to you either.  Some of it, such as the Trip Reports, is only visible by registered users of the site and you must be signed in.  So if you are registered, that's great.  Sign in and view all of the content.  If you are not registered, please do so by clicking the Register link up at the top left of the page.  It only takes a few minutes.  Then, come on in and get to know us and hopefully participate.

Need new places. Broadway is too young for us old folk. Studebakers has gone down hill for years. ( Remember when you couldn't find a place to stand in there.)  Even Beach Wagon has gone sour. 2001 is OK, but still not the same as in the OLD days. Really miss Cabanna Terrace up north. Had live band. Seen the Drifters there a couple times. Also , Holiday Inn South had live band for a small bar. That place rocked.
Had suggestions of  Fat Harold's, Duck's, and Boulevard Grill.
Any others? Want night life. Not a dinner and music place. Thanks

I'm 63 & Fat Harold's crowd is too old for me even, plus if you don't shag you can forget it. Ducks is better than Harold's for a party atmosphere, but a lot of locals and and "weekend" locals hang out there.Don't know anything about Blvd Grill. For my money 2001 is still the place to go on Friday and Saturday nights.
2012 will mark my 34th consecutive year to make a golf trip to Myrtle. Retired as "group leader" after last May's trip, but unretired long enough to book golf thru Brian for May 2012.

If you are looking for live music, Pat & Mikes up north usually has pretty good bands. It is more of a bar type atomsphere than most places but they do have decent food. Both golfers and locals go there.
With a new knee (12/14/10) I treated myself with new clubs for successfully completing rehab. Mizumo JXP 800 irons, TM R-11 driver, 3w, 5w and an old Cleveland 60* wedge. Still use the Scotty Cameron Kombi putter, use Titiest or Callaway balls, Ecco shoes (like Couples) and a Bag Boy cart bag.

I liked Pat and Mike's Irish Pub a lot, I am only 41 though, so it might be a few years too young for you. Go to Master's they love you not matter age you are!

Oh man. Beach Wagon is no more? End of an era there. No C&W down there now? Not that I like it, just curious. Does anyone know the name of smaller bar that's next to Gallions? Was new, I think, 2 years ago. Still there? They closed early the night we were there. Had potential.

We are a +50 crowd.  Last couple of visits we went to Crocodile Rock (duelling piano's) at Broadway at the Beach.  There are good spots for dinner beforw right there and the atmosphere at Crocodile Rock is touristy but pretty good.
