My name is Brian Noblin and i'm a Golf Packager in Myrtle Beach. I started this site in 2001 as a way to inform people about Myrtle Beach Golf and possibly gain a few clients in the mean time. Please feel free to browse about the site and enjoy the very informative interactive message board room. Please feel free to email me at brian@myrtlebeachgolftalk.com if you have any questions, need to get a quote or book your golf package!

The Myrtle Beach Golf Talk Forum is the heart and soul of this website (it's where the "Talk" is derived from) and has transformed over the years.  This is the latest, and hopfully last, incarnation of the Forum.  Here is where all of the latest information can be found, from recent trip reports to advice for a particular issue.  Over the years, Forum members have formed friendships, there is an annual Forum Outing in Myrtle Beach and occassionaly local outings where Forum members get together and play golf.

If you are seeing this notice, you are either not registered on the site and/or not signed in.  Not all of the Forum content is visible to you either.  Some of it, such as the Trip Reports, is only visible by registered users of the site and you must be signed in.  So if you are registered, that's great.  Sign in and view all of the content.  If you are not registered, please do so by clicking the Register link up at the top left of the page.  It only takes a few minutes.  Then, come on in and get to know us and hopefully participate.

Two weeks from today and my group will be in Myrtle Beach for our 5 annual trip.  Getting more excited by the minute.  Just wanted to see if anyone had played our courses recently and see what shape they were in.  We are coming from eastern NC and we are going to be playing Rivers Edge on the way down.  On day 2 we are going to play Willbrook Plantation.  On day 3 we are playing TPC and on our last day we are playing Barefoot-Love.  I am super excited!!!!

You should be excited with your courses, enjoy and keep them in the short grass.
Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tradgedies, obscured by the occassional miracle.

We played Rivers Edge in late March and it was in terrific condition. Excellent actually, compared to some of the problems they had had reported in the past 18 months.
    I AM the committee.

Conditions were good all over MB this spring. Check on aeration for your time frame. Don't forget your trip report.

called out there to River's Edge on Monday...wanted to play in PM....but they were aeriating the greens that day.
Ask some of the longtimers...but I would imagine the greens will be ok by the time you arrive in a couple weeks.
    fyi.
didn't play the others you mentioned...
...i DID play Norman with Mike + Yank...and it was in good shape.
It's a madhouse there if you are playing in AM...so get there early to get acclimated.
The starters and cart guys are very busy, so hard to find out the way they do things there.
Like I said..it's a madhouse...everyone wants to play out there.

Played Rivers Edge yesterday(25th). Thought it was in very good shape. Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Have a great time!
2013 will be my 35th consecutive year to make a golf trip to Myrtle in May. Retired as "group leader" after 2011 May trip, but still booking golf courses for the group. Only handle accommodations for myself and whoever shares lodging with me.

Also played TPC a week ago. Lost ALL the sand in all the traps. Starter told us if we got in a bunker to take a free drop.

Right there with you brother....We'll be there 7-10 June. Coming from the Sanford NC area. We lost a few this year due to deployments and illness but 16 is agood number. Sounds like you've got a great line up....Fairways & Greens, GolfdawgZ
