I've taken many a MB trip in this time period. Right after Memorial Day is a widespread greens aeration period. Check that none of these have an issue with that.

You have a premium schedule. Suggestions- After BF Love, replay another BF course and try Rivers Edge again. Travel to Arrowhead and Tidewater and time to load and reload cars and do bag drop and check in would be at least 45 min plus the uncertainty of how long your am round actual is and the cost of playing an unaffiliated course. Heritage and Pawleys, otoh, are very close. Enjoy your trip.

Thanks for the advice. For the widespread aeration, yes I did check them all. Last year we did play the Barefoot Dye (love it) but this year it's close for green change.

As Mr KG indicated, there is a lot of travel between some of your paired courses. You are also considering courses that cover almost the entire length of the Grand Strand from south to north. Most of your courses are south or central. Although I love Rivers Edge, I'd probably save it for another trip when you focus on playing courses up in Brunswick County, NC.

Heritage and Pawleys Plantation are a good pair and Caledonia and True Blue are a good pair. That gives you two days down south near Pawleys Island.

If you are staying in or near pawleys and are interested in reducing time in the car, I'd suggest Replacing your Rivers Edge day with two of the following courses: Willbrook Plantation, Tradition, Founders Club @ Pawleys or River Club.

If you want to play a different course in the pm on your TPC Day, I'd suggest Prestwick or the private Fazio course at Wachesaw. Brian can get you on there.

On the day you drive to Barefoot, I would not pair it with Arrowhead. Why drive to a lower level course when you can play the Dye of Fazio courses at Barefoot?

Kings North is okay and most of the posters here love it. If it were me and I wanted to play 36, I'd go across the street and play Heathland and Moorland at Legends.

Agree with Ken...absolutely replay another BF course. Fazio and Norman operate out of the same clubhouse as Love does. Fazio is slightly better. Rivers Edge is nice enough to just replay itself, but if you want another course and you're playing early enough, consider 25 minutes north at Cape Fear national...terrific course. The rest of your line up is top shelf...no problems at all. I will be there also from 5/22 to 27.

    Thanks Guys.....

We are staying in North Myrtlebeach (Myrtlewood).

River Edge and Tide Water are close enough for a replay no????????

For the Barefoot.... as I said... the Dye course is not open. We are playing the Love. Do you reommend me another one at Barefoot?

And no we don't want to play another course of TPC... we always end our Trip at TPC... what a nice place

Myrtlewood villas is more of a central location. It is not in North Myrtle Beach.

I would play another Barefoot course. I recommend the Fazio course which is one of my favorite.

There is a 40 minutes drive between Tidewater and River's Edge. There are good options near River's Edge, namely Carolina National or, even better, Cape Fear National less than 20 minutes away.

Other than that, you have a great line-up. Welcome to the Forum and enjoy your trip !

You're getting good advice. Replay at BF would be about $45, not much diff to Arrowhead and you're already there, loaded on a cart. With Fazio and Norman there, a same day replay would not be difficult to get.

Knowing now that you're staying at Myrtlewood, be aware that Rivers Edge is at least an hr's drive. If you're looking for closer marsh view courses, look into a Leopard's Chase-Tiger's Eye combo (same property, 2 clubhouses) or pair Tidewater with Oyster Bay or one of the Pearls (if cost is a factor). Much less driving time and less stress between rounds.

Other than that, you have a top notch trip planned and if the weather cooperates, none of your group should have any qualms about it.

I agree with ditching Kings North and going across the street to Legends.
In the bag: TM Tour Burner Driver, TM RBZ 3-Wood (best 3 wood ever), Titleist AP-2 Irons, Vokey Wedges, YES! Sandy Putter, Pro V1X

We will be there the same week as you. Unfortunately cape fear, tigers eye, leopards chase, grande dunes, and the dunes are all aerating on or around may 29th. We are playing barefoot Fazio and replacing love on the 30th. Dye is closed and we don't care for the Norman course. We are also plaing rivers edge and kings north that week along with crow creek. I agree with the poster who advised pairing true blue and caladonia. Good luck, maybe we will cross paths

I love your Choices with TPC, True Blue and Caledonia. If you set to play TPC twice then have at it. Pawleys and Heritage and nice casue they are close in Proximity and Kings North is a great pick but you will need to pick something close if you do replay.

    Thanks everyone! Nice advice....

Yes I know that Rivers Edge is far away.... but I really want to play there. And I know that Tide Water is far for a replay, but at least we're getting closer from home going to Tide Water!

For Barefoot... yeah it's a good idea.... we will play Love and replay Fazio or Norman!

For Kings North... no need of replay... it's our only "one round day"
